SAP: Student Assistance Program

We've partnered with the Des Moines Public School System to provide FREE, CONFIDENTIAL services to children and families who are in need of behavioral health services.

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is designed to be a no-cost, rapid response intervention for students and their families to have better success in school. Regardless of the difficulties, we are here to help! SAP services are meant to break the barriers of receiving services, so there are many ways we can be involved.

None of your information will be shared without a release of information, that is the law. If you decide you want our providers to communicate with the school regarding your child, we have the appropriate releases to facilitate that for you.Ā

We can be available in person at your child's school or in the office, by phone, or through telehealth services (a simple computer connection). Typically our services through SAP will last 3 to 5 contacts. After that initial time, if you still desire our assistance, we can help you with that transition in services. Please see ourĀ services tabĀ for examples of ways we can help.Ā

To continue helping your family after the Student Assistance Program is completed, we offer in-school and in-office mental health care so you and your family have continuity of care with ourĀ School-Based Mental Health Program.Ā
